Silica fabric is a flexible fabric developed to replace asbestos fabric in welding and stress relieving applications where
protection against heat or molten metal is necessary. Silica cloth is used where special protection is required from welding
sparks when fire and light burning is required.

Features

  • Withstands continuous heat up to 1000°C and temperatures as high as 1260°C.
  • Constructed using vermiculite and inorganic heat-resistant fibers.
  • Free from asbestos, making it safe and environmentally friendly.
  • Ideal for protecting nearby surfaces and equipment during welding and cutting tasks.
  • Customizable according to customer requirements.
  • Edges are reinforced with brass eyelets and stitched with high-temperature Kevlar or fiberglass threads.
