Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate / MBA with 1-year Technical Diploma in International Import or Export.
- 5–8 years of experience in domestic purchasing and international sourcing.
- Experience in industrial safety, manufacturing, textiles or polymers preferred.
- Strong knowledge of EXIM, Incoterms, customs duties, GST and taxation.
- Hands-on experience with SAP MM / ERP systems.
- Strong negotiation, communication and budget management skills.
- Willingness to travel when required.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, finished products and machinery from domestic and international markets.
- Identify, evaluate and onboard reliable domestic and global vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, credit terms, volume discounts and delivery conditions.
- Coordinate customs clearance, LC, freight forwarding and import-export operations.
- Raise, track and manage Purchase Orders through ERP/SAP.
- Monitor vendor performance based on delivery, quality and commercial parameters.
- Coordinate with production teams for material planning and optimum inventory levels.
- Develop alternative suppliers and backup sourcing channels to minimize supply risks.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with applicable quality and safety standards.
